The redesigned exterior looks much the same as the last Chevy Tahoe. Look closer and you'll notice that it's larger and proportioned a bit differently, resulting in more interior volume and ten inches' more third-row legroom. If you opt for the LS trim, you can seat up to nine passengers; your San Benito Chevy dealer will show you the seating possibilities in the other trims.
The mechanical changes are more significant. There's new independent-link
rear suspension for a smoother ride, a new ten-speed transmission, and even
though two of three engines are carry-overs, the third - a 277 horsepower
turbocharged diesel engine - serves up a whopping 460 lb.-ft. of torque. If

.

The exterior redesign is complemented by a variety of new interior features.
We especially like the power-sliding front storage console, which helps you corral all the junk (cables, chargers, holders, change, and the like) that tends to pile up. There's also a new, and luxurious, High Country trim with amenities like the Driver Alert Package (standard), a surround-view camera, and perforated leather seats.
Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® are now fed through a ten-inch
infotainment display. Four-wheel drive, a two-speed transfer case, skid
plate, and all-terrain tires move to the standard equipment list on the Z71
trim. And if you opt for the Driver Alert Package on the other trims,
you'll get lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, and parking sensors.
