Three Must-Have Safety Features in your New Buick Car

Are you currently shopping for a new car? If so, you probably know how difficult it can be to make a decision on a new vehicle. There are so many things to consider: make, model, fuel economy, etc. All of these things depend on driver preference; however, there is one area that drivers should consider no matter what. That area is vehicle safety features, which should not be overlooked.

Vehicle safety should be of the utmost importance to drivers, but it’s often secondary when considering the features of a new Buick car for sale. The professionals here at Gillman Chevrolet Buick GMC have compiled a list of must-have safety features for your new Buick car.

Forward Collision Alert

This safety feature is intended to prevent collisions, specifically front or forward collisions. It does so by alerting drivers, with a visual and audio warning, of any approaching vehicles. Hopefully, the alert can prompt drivers to slow down, which minimizes the impact of the collision, or to avoid the collision altogether. This feature is available in the 2019 Buick Enclave at your Texas Buick dealer.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert

This feature was designed specifically to help drivers back out of a parking space, a time where accidents are fairly common. It uses radar to detect approaching vehicles and will alert you if any vehicle is within 65 feet on either side of your 2019 Buick Encore.

Side Blind Zone Alert

This feature is not standard on every new Buick car, but we recommend adding it to your model. The Side Blind Zone Alert will let you know if any vehicles enter your blind zone, by giving you a signal on the outside rearview mirror.
