
The relaunch of the past successful Buick Regal mid-size sedan will be the least expensive in the line up and revamped to be Buick's premium sport sedan. The new
2011 Buick Regal is based on the European award winning Opel Insignia and will sit on the LaCrosse's Epsilon II platform, but on a shorter wheelbase. The sport-injected Regal will come standard with a 4-cylinder 182-hp engine with Variable Valve Timing receiving an estimated 30mpg on the highway. Available Fall 2010 will be a 220-hp ECOTEC turbo engine with dual-scroll technology. The 2011 Buick Regal features aerodynamic lines and chrome accents with 18 inch aluminum wheels and integral lip spoiler adding to the sport sedan look.
